It was decided to call the group set up by the ACC at the public meeting the 'Ardross Community Woodland Subcommittee (ACWSC). The office bearers were chosen: Jeremy Spurway - Chairman Anthony Chamier - Vice Chairman Peter Allen - Secretary (These officers were sanctioned by the full ACC later that evening) It was resolved to hold future meetings on 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 8.00pm in the Community Hall, with an additional meeting on 23rd October 2006. These meetings would be open to all members of the community. It was decided that the first task should be to generate a questionaire as a device to gather the communities views.
