1045 UT

Landfall made on the island of Flores ( I assume they are at Lajes, Lat 39.22.44N Long 31.10.06W) in the Azores archipelago, this is 146 miles short of their original planned destination of Horta on the island of Faial.
There must have been a good reason for this change (perhaps the Strong winds and High seas)
The crew are obviously very tired and after they have been rested I shall ask for more detail.
