MAINTENANCE - HULL

Sanded off old Petit Trinidad 75 anti foul as not able to get it in UK. Ground off everything on keel to get back to metal.

On keel, first applied four coats of rust preventer then faired with West System epoxy with 406 filler. Kept sanding down and adding filler until a reasonably smooth surface was obtained. Then for both keel and hull, applied a coat of epoxy followed by three coats of epoxy with barrier powder. Finally, three coats of copper coat all over and a fourth coat at the water line. Used ten packs of Copper Coat.

Above the water line, gave it a good wash and clean then compounded the gel coat. Repainted the blue coach stripes and followed this by two applications of acrylic polish.
