ISSP Collaborative Projects

The Collaborative Projects strand of the North Somerset Independent State School Partnership provides funding for projects that will benefit students in Maths, Science or ICT. In order to qualify schools must work collaboratively with other schools and, where ever possible, include independent and state schools. This is an excellent opportunity to receive funding to implement a new event or initiative and for schools to pool their expertise and resources for the benefit of all.

Criteria
The exact nature of the project is determined by you, but every project must meet the following criteria –
·         Linked to one or more of the following subjects – Maths, Science or ICT.
·         A primary focus on G&T students.
·         Aim to directly or indirectly increase attainment in one or more of the named subjects, OR increase progression rates to post-16 courses in one or more of the named subjects.
·         Involve collaboration between teachers AND/OR students from each partner school.
·         Involve both independent and state schools. The ISSP Project Officerwill be able to help you with this.
