With new management team Mark Suttle and the now retired Jones helping out for the day due to work commitments from his Assistant Vogel the new look team that was assembled looked one of the strongest Reserve teams Deighton has been able to Field for a number of years with the likes of Westerman, Wilkinson, Lawrence, Mcentee and Gobbi all in the staring eleven.

Pick of the players was Jon Gobbi with 5 sublime finishes all from outside the area hit with precision and calmness but the pick of the goals must go to John Williams with a 3 pass move from Suttle in Goal to Westerman then to Danby in the middle of the park laid of to Williams who hit a 35 yard rasping drive in to the top right hand corner to the amazement of the watching crowd and giving the hapless Styans keeper no chance at all.

An outstanding team performance with Luke Danby the driving force behind most things from the midfield and the quite outstanding Gobbi

 No doubt this will give 1^st team manager buckle a headache in selection for the coming weeks with all 11 outfield players worthy of a first team place after this performance.

A great start to the season and on this form we could finally see this team challenging for honours weather it is league or a cup.
