Hilly Fields + Events
A lovely area of Enfield with ancient woods & pleanty of grass for a family day out a picnic or just a walk - The Friends of Hillyfields host musical events on many weekends in the Summer with all the proceeds (donations in a bucket no charge for going) aupport Enfield Charities.

Forty Hall - Farm & Grounds + Activities
One of Enfield's few surviving Historic Houses (no developers or fires yet) set in acres of beautiful park + Lake + Cafe & Refreshements + Parking & Toilets.
The Hall is open Wednesday to Sunday from 11-4pm + the Park is open daily every day until dusk - Regular events throughout the year are featured on 'Weekend' page (no web site just an e-mail link to LBE for info)

Whitewebbs Park & Motor Museum + Carvery

An absolutely beautiful part of Enfield with acres of park & quiet old woodlands that have remained largely untouched & provide the perfect quiet walk or explore witht he kids.
Free parking + pub & carvery (lovely to sit outside plenty of tables) & a great museum which holds events - Link to their site for details.

Capel Manor Gardens & Estate + Activites
Capel Manor has 30 acres of gardens including Historical Gardens, an Italian Maze & Japanese - Georgian Manor House & Victorian Stables + a Jungle Gym (perfect for the kids) - A Visitors Centre with garden & gift shop + plant sales in summer season - Refreshments are available in the Terrace Restaurant.
There are great facilities for disabled visitors with free admission for carers & other concessions (link to their site for details) + events through the year (dogs on leads allowed). Gardens open 10 - 6pm (last admission 4.30)
Lea Valley Parks - Farms & Activities

Massive open parks + several Farms + activities including Water Sport & conservation & nature based events & days out.
