SCF MARCH & IMAGES

A MESSAGE FROM SAVE CHASE FARM COUNCILLOR KATE WILKINSON:

"Save Chase Farm wants to say a very big 'Thank You' to all the Enfield residents  who came out (again) as well as those from Haringey, Barnet, Cheshunt & Broxbourne who joined us to support the march on Saturday.

Once again we have shown that no one has been swayed by the hundreds of thousands of pounds that have been spent trying to persuade us that cutting front line services away from our much needed & accessible hospital will: 'Bring better healthcare closer to people's homes.' (the mantra used by the PCT to justify their proposals to cut services at Chase Farm).

So thank you to all those who have continued to fight with us to keep our hospital - The war is not won but the battle has been joined & the coming weeks & months will be crucial.

Please make sure you have your voice heard & write a letter now to Andrew Wright (see SCF page on this site), lobby your MPs & the PCT & take part in the 'Formal Consultation' when it begins -  Let's ensure we keep a fully functioning Chase Farm to meet Enfield's needs - THANK YOU."

"I went on Saturday and it was good to see so many Lockies there on the day.....Just wanted to say well done to Councillor Wilkinson for a great event, and a great atmosphere, and well done to ELAG and the Lock for turning out."  - Denise from Enfield Lock

"We went with the kids and it was a great atmosphere.....Well done to the Save Chase Farm Campaigners, when's the next one? We will be there again we have to keep our hospital!" - Eddie & family from Enfield Lock

"I looked back from the front of the march where I was stewarding, and thought to myself, where else would anyone be this afternoon but here, & doing this? It was fantastic!"  - Beth Pedder ELAG Vice Chair

"We marched as a family last time and this time our neighbours came too. We would march all the way to Parliament to keep our hospital - What madness is this?  Well done to the organisers SCF and to everyone who turned out for a great day."  - Sharon with her Family & Neighbours from Bush Hill Park
