Cameronians Friends & Families

As our name suggests we are Cameronians, Friends of the regiment and family members of those who served as Cameronians no matter how many generations ago.

We meet in the Tannochside Olde Club, Old Edinburgh Road, Tannochside, Uddingston. Meetings are held monthly apart from January and July. May is Cameronian Day when our members gather on the nearest Sunday to the 14th in Douglas South Lanarkshire to 're the regimenut. This year being Sunday the 14th of May marked on all our calendars.

Everyone is more than welcome to attend meetings, short or tall, young or old, local or far travelled there are new friends to be made. Meetings are not just business but a chance to catch up, enjoy a drink, buy a raffle or a small souvenir.

Throughout the year members gather and take part in services at memorials, churches, parades in many areas of the country. From the smallest to the grandeur of Glasgow Cathedral, a Covenanter memorial in a disused kirkyard, village gala days members parade throughout the year.
