Paul Kemp cleaned up town with a devastating round which saw him not only walk away wearing the Purple Helmet but also taking the honours in the Gross section, Category 1 and also Runner Up in the team competition.

Kempy's 66 gross, 59 nett included 4 birdies and an eagle.

After a couple of late withdrawals, thirty seven took to the course in pursuit of the ultimate prize in golf. Other prizewinners on the day included Ian Rushbrook winning the Hamlet Trophy for the second time and Darren Sutherland won best exile for the fourth year running.
