The Bandit practicing on the putting greenCorsie, the original bandit, must be the most naturally talented non-golfer we’ve ever come across. Even Jack Nicklaus didn’t hit his first ever shot 200 yards!

Although not in the same league as the Pub Olympic competitors, Andrew is a fine all round sportsman and possessed the most potent left foot in Orkney football in his day. Recently retired from playing football, to concentrate on his golf in the summer, he still tries to convince us he is a non-golfer. Our sources however inform us that he can go round the course in only one or two over par. Time to get a handicap we say!
The Bandit and Hammy

As well as playing golf Andrew also took up the position of Orkney County Football Manager, a poisoned chalice if ever there was one. We've no doubt that Andrew will rise to the challenge and would like to put it on record that if he needs any advice he knows where to contact us!

Corky on his way home from the Boot Camp training!Since he stopped playing football Corsie has also become a bit of a fitness fanatic and is looking as fit as he ever has. A keen doonie, in the long winter months Andrew is known to run invitational training and fitness sessions for aspiring doonies in his quest to halt the Uppie domination. These training sessions are affectionately known as Corsie’s Boot Camp. Andrew pictured right heading home after one of his infamous training sessions!

Below is evidence of what years of getting hammered up the street does to you!

and by the way . . .

In his youth Andrew was a fine pianist . . . I said pianist, and liked nothing better than to tap out a few tunes on the piano. Not a lot of people know that!!
