This is Willow Viminalis it is not for baskets but living garden structures such as Arches, Shelters, Tunnels and Fedges (fence/hedge), also used for non living hurdles (instant screens) even living furniture. Great for children and adults, fun to construct your imagination is the only limit, it will grow if put in the ground so you need to be aware it will need attention in the years ahead and will have big roots so don't plant it too close to flower/vegie beds or plastic lined ponds. It can be used in land management and compost toilet systems due to it's high water needs. We have some big ones with many branches which if planted will take root and become an instant tree.
We use 12/m for a fedge.
