Yesterday was the hottest July day on record in the UK; fortunately, we had a bit of early morning haar to keep it cooler here. This Japanese anemome blossom caught us by surprise. It has to be a record for early blooming. Whatever we lost with a late spring, we've more than made up in this July heat wave!
