Our first 'proper' snow of the winter arrived today. After several years of mild winters with very few frosty nights below -2ºC, we are having a long spell of chilly temperatures.

I've just ordered bird seed/suet balls and 'buggy nibbles' from the RSPB shop to keep our many garden birds happy and — belatedly — sent off my order to Pentland Plants for plug plants to arrive the first week of April. 

Now, it's time to bundle up and enjoy a walk in the snow with Bramley.
