A dear friend and neighbour died this evening. We shared many happy garden chats, walks and trips to Arbriachan Nursery over the past years. Whenever I couldn't remember the name of a plant or needed some obscure horticultural information, she was the one to whom I turned. She was ever generous in sharing cuttings, seedlings and plants dug from her garden. This carpet of pulmonaria beneath our willow tree is just one lasting reminder of Jill that will continue to bloom in our garden.
