Stray agapanthus
Last weekend I read another gardening article with warnings about the hardiness of agapanthus in northern parts of the UK. Obviously, our plants don't read the Sunday broadsheets! Not only have our two pots flourished (see Summer 2007 photo) despite being left outdoors twelve months of the year, they have seeded themselves all around the patio. This summer we have found young plants blossoming in the gravel edging, in the bedding pockets of the brick wall and beside the pond.
