We didn't have the white Christmas that our grandchildren wished for. This  winter's sunrise from several years ago ('painted' with PhotoShop filters) formed the front of our 2012 Christmas card.

Our actual weather during the holidays was a bit of a non-event: sunny spells, a few drizzly days, temperatures above freezing — and no snow.
