We had our first ground frost last night which brought a quick end to my outdoor cutting garden. I hastily cut what dahlias and chrysanthemums that I could save from the (unheated) greenhouse. Now it's time to clear the raised beds of the annual flowers that were part of the Sarah Raven 'cut flower collection' — which proved to be a great success.
