Garden blossoms in summer sunshine

The garden has burst into bloom with warmer temperatures of 20–22º and frequent showers. Even Ken's new pond lilies are beginning to blossom (along with the blanket weed!).

I'm particularly pleased with the colour in my cut flower beds, supplemented by the dozen varieties  from the Sarah Raven collection of cut flower plugs that I planted in May. I've had more than sufficient flowers for house and church. The problem has been trying to protect the more delicate blossoms in the sudden, heavy downpours of the past week.
