Our strawberries may not qualify for Wimbledon, but we can't complain about the quantity. Last year, when we replanted the herb garden, we bought three wild strawberry plants from Poyntzfield Herb Nursery. These three plants have multipled more than 20-fold. I potted up at least
30 offsets in April for selling at the Food Festival in July, leaving dozens of new 'plantlets' around the original trio.
