Ken and I each have our separate garden responsibilities and favourite garden plants. Whilst he can't walk past a new Japanese maple, rhododendron or apple tree without wanting to buy it, I'm partial to my herbaceous plants — especially hellebores and hardy geraniums. This one from Arbriachan Nursery brightens an island bed in the centre of the garden and is my very favourite. (One of these days I'll try to find its label, since I've forgotten the name!)
