Julie and Alice sit in the summer sunshine and practice their face-painting technique on life models. They will be painting apples and pears on the cheeks of children attending our Apple Day on 1 October. Other activities planned for children include story-telling (tales from Hugh Miller), dookin' for apples and a competition to see who can make the longest apple peel.
