Ken and neighbour Julie survey the aftermath of the cascade of water that came pouring down the Causeway this afternoon. Thunder and lightning were followed by a deluge of rain that completely flooded the road outside our garden wall within 15 minutes. The soil brought down the hill quickly blocked drains, and water poured through a side door in The Kennels wall and into the Clunes House driveway.
