After the heavy rain showers of the past few days, there was a brief spell of sunshine this afternoon — just long enough to take my sodden washing off the line and to notice the buzz of bees in the herb garden. These 'bumbles' were busily humming between blossoms of the Nepeta 'Six Hills Giant' .
