Despite our mild winter, we seem to have few flowers in bloom in our garden. Neighbours' daffodils have been blooming for several weeks, yet we don't have a single one! However, I can report two crocuses, three Iris reticulata and several varieties of Helleborus brightening the borders. The one surprise has been a sighting of several frogs in the pond a few days ago - earlier by at least two weeks than in previous years.
