On Wednesday, Mackie started building the low cement block and clay brick wall just inside the Miller Road entrance to our garden. Yesterday, we had no snow, no rain, no gales (just a touch of ground frost) - unlike the southern half of Scotland that was immobilised with snow and England & Wales that were battered with near hurricane-force winds.
