Ken enjoyed collecting his first basket of 'Glen Ample' raspberries this morning. They are ripening just in time for our family's arrival next week. The first artichoke is also ready to pick, and the raised salad bed continues to keep us supplied with 'Salad Bowl' and 'Lolla Rosa' lettuce and rocket. Ken's carrots are just about ready to lift, too. I suspect this is a treat he is saving to share with the grandchildren.
