Ever since Kenneth Cox (with his brother, the photographer Ray Cox) visited our garden last summer as part of their survey of Scottish gardens open to the public, we have awaited his verdict with a certain amount of apprehension. When the book arrived today, we were pleased to read the favourable comments (on page 18, if you are interested!). The Cox brothers have produced an impressive and comprehensive guide, including a useful introduction to Scottish garden history and style.
