A taste of winter
Cold northerly winds have brought grey skies and a dusting of snow today. The crab apples from our Malus 'Evereste' have been left for the blackbirds to enjoy. The raspberries in the raised bed are a distant memory and are ready to be cut back, along with the dahlias that bloomed mightily throughout the autumn (despite the damage to the leaves by slugs and snails).
