With another week before the end of August, a bumper harvest of apples is ripening in the orchard. Meantime, we are enjoying the largest harvest our eight-year old blueberry bushes (varieties 'Bluecrop' and 'Herbert') have ever produced. Each day brings another bowlful for garnishing our morning muesli or adding to blueberry waffles.
