Tuesday Trio's Bowling

Having been asked by a few people about this, I've decided to put up a page on here.

Firstly for those new to our league, let me tell you about this award. It's the only award that this league gives out as a trophy and is held in high esteem by our members.

Min Tulley was a wonderful person who not only bowled in our league but in other leagues as well. Alway cheerful and smiling with never a bad word for anyone. Guarenteed a laugh if you were on the lanes with her. When she sadly passed away we decided to honour her name by dedicating a trophy each year. Originally, it was the secretary (Greg Brown at the time) who decided who was the most apt bowler to receive this prestigeous award. When I took over from Greg, I decided that it would be maybe a bit unfair for me to choose from my friends and fellow bowlers. So I changed the criteria to that which we now employ.

This criteria is simple ----  THE MOST IMPROVED BOWLER AT THE END OF THE SEASON.

To allow bowlers to 'bed' themselves in so to speak, we take the initial start average after 15 games played. Then, obviously, the winner will be the bowler (bowlers in the event of a tie) with the greatest plus average at the end of the season.

I'll post a list and update weekly of all bowlers with a plus figure so that you can follow your own personal progress.
