Today 1st July 2014 we remember Private Albert Hill (13202) who served with the Northamptonshire Regiment. He was killed in action on 1st July 1916 and is buried in the Dantzig Alley British Cemetery, Mametz. His square has been stitched by Helen Tovey. Helen is not related to Albert but has chosen to commemorate him as his name is listed on her local village war memorial. Her square can be seen in the Gallery.
