Rotovating

Rotovation
Got a few days use of the Community Rotovator this week.
A fine piece of machinery it is too.
When I first started the engine my immediate impression was that the rotovator knew where it wanted to go and was taking me with it!
It was an internal combustion device with attitude - the garden machinery version of Neil Lennon!
At one stage we seemed to be getting alarmingly close to the duck pond.
Anyway, after much involuntary activity in my lower bowel region I managed to steel myself and show it who was boss.
It’s certainly a lot more exciting than digging the croft with a spade.
A Damn Close Run Thing
Took delivery of a spare wheel for the car recently.
These car manufacturers nowadays seem to regard a spare wheel as an unnecessary waste of space in the boot. I’m not sure what your supposed to do if one of your tyres gets shredded in a pothole halfway to Dingwall.
Anyway, ‘herself’ duly found one online and it arrived before she came home.
I should have chosen my words more carefully but when she came home I told her that she now had a spare tyre.
I won’t make that mistake again. I value my personal safety!
Porkers
Managed to source some piglets to fatten up over the Summer.
Spent some time yesterday getting their quarters ready for next week.
They’ve got a fine little house in a stunning location with breathtaking views over the Sound of Sleat.
A large mature garden with potential for development.
Cruard is a much sought after community with nearby local school and shops in Broadford and Ardvasar.
A weekly delivery of Sow Rolls can be arranged.
