The piper, the sailor, and the man from Gedintailor
Spent three days before the mast last week sailing from Armadale to Inverness via the Caley Canal.
When the Sun was on the yard arm we opened a bottle and toasted Ardnamurchan Lighthouse.
Stopped off briefly at Tobermory for fuel and water before carrying on down the Sound of Mull.
Cracked open another bottle.
Turned into the Firth of Lorne and headed up the coast of Morvern before anchoring in a small loch North of Glen Sanda.
Cracked open another bottle.
Spent the next day transiting the canal as far as Fort Augustus.
Went ashore for sustenance and cracked open another bottle.
Next day we reached Inverness and tied up.
Oor Wullie
Saw a report this week about a complete collection of Oor Wullie books.
The late Danny Kyle reckoned Oor Wullie was about the sex life of a set of male Siamese twins.
