Exploding Lawnmowers

Grass
Cut the grass yesterday, the first time this year.
I love the smell of cut grass in the morning.
Spoke to one of our neighbours who started his lawnmower last week after it’s winter lay-up.
After the engine turned over initially, there was an almighty ‘bang’ and your man dived for cover suspecting he’d been the target of a shot-gun wielding maniac.
Ah, the joy of lawnmowers!
Eilean a Cheo
Real traditional Skye weather this week ; not a breath of wind and cloud so low you can’t see Knoydart.
These conditions don’t seem as common as they used to be.
Questions should be asked in the House.
Am Praban
Made a rare visit to our local hostelry last week with ‘herself’.
Good beer and stimulating conversation ( mostly about boats, weddings, and the merits of being a lesbian).
A fun time was had by all.
