Very late lates
Dug up some tatties which were missed in the Autumn and delighted that they were still edible.
It was almost a cross between gardening and archaeology.
Lost Voice
It’s been a quiet couple of days due to ‘herself’ losing her voice.
Just the occasional squeak is all she’s produced since Thursday.
It’s amazing, though, the ability of a woman to convey her thoughts and intentions without the use of audible speech.
I’ve learned that a rolling pin held above my head signifies doubt as to the wisdom of a suggestion I’ve made.
Wonderful creatures altogether.
Anti-fouling
Started anti-fouling the boat this week in preparation for the coming of Spring.
As the monkey said when they cut off it’s tail ; ‘It won’t be long now!’
