Knot in my backyard
I'm becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of local Japanese Knotweed plants in Camuscross. There seems to be an ugly atmosphere in the air.
These far- eastern wanderers came here to settle and find a better life.
They put down roots - in some cases very long roots. All that some in the community can do is question their right to be here.
If our ancestors had shown similar intolerance 400 years ago the humble tattie would have been banished back to South America from whence it came.
Meanwhile, rhododendron bushes have started looking similarly nervous.

Perhaps Uncle Ronnie in Canada would appreciate some of the Knotweed along with the turnips and to ensure their continuation should they be exterminated in Camuscross?
