WITS has reached the short list for the Saltire First Book Award! The winner will be named on Friday 30th November (Stan Drew's Day).

The book has had an outing at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, where it gambolled like a young thing (which, of course, it is) and showed the rest of the field a clean pair of heels.
The reading went well, nearly being attended by Alex Salmond and Charles Spencer. Angus Dunn nearly attended their talks as well, but decided, on the balance, he'd rather sit in the Author's Yurt with Margaret Atwood (and other literary luminaries) and drink tea, eat lots of tiny Danish pastries and read a book.

WITS is now on its third printing, so presumably the first two printings have sold out! The new issue is in a smaller format - more portable.
