The meeting was held a couple of weeks

ago in March and the Town Clerk spoke at

length about the design for the remodelled

MarketPlace. The work will start after

Christmas next in 2017 and the Traders

will move from the Market Place into

Broad Street about where the Taxi ranks

are. The block paving will be removed and

replaced with York stone. The big trees

are to be felled and some hornbeams will

be planted in slighly different places, lit up

at night time. Benches will be replaced

with new ones and dedications kept.
