                      COMPETITION RULES

1.    Singles, Pairs, Mixed Pairs, Captains,  all 501 straight in double out ~ best 2 of 3 legs Charity pairs will be played to a conclusion on the night of the event.

2.    Four-a-side: 4 to play – 701 best 2 out of 3 legs, straight start, double finish. If you wish to use a reserve player, they must be named on the entry form.                                                                                             

3.    The first named competitor/team to call the toss, the loser of the toss will throw first in the second leg, in the event of a third leg the second named competitor/team to call.

4.    All competitions the draw will take place at 8.30 pm sharp with the competition starting shortly afterwards. Any player not present at 8.30 pm will not be entered into the draw unless they have phoned ahead with a good reason as to why they are going to be late.

5.     The person/s named in the competitions must play at the venue as drawn. If most teams enter it will be a straight pairs knockout.

6.  You may change your partner due to illness  before  the first competitive dart is thrown  in the knockout phase there after the pair must remain together, no further exchanges of partners will be allowed. If a partner fails to attend finals night then the remain player will be asked to throw 3 darts to the opposing pairs 6.

7.  All players who entered, if of a high standard, must have played a minimum of 4 league games over the course of the season to enter the Men's Singles. A minimum of 2 of these must be played in the first half of the season.

8.  Any player entering the competitions must be available to play on finals night, otherwise they will be banned from entering any competitions the following season. 

9. THe Ladies Singles and Pairs competition can be played to a conlcusion on the night of the competition if the number of entrants is sufficently small enough and a number of entrants cannot make finals night.

10.  Competitions  held at two venues must be played out to a winner. With the winners from each venue playing each other on finals night.

 

11. ALL TROPHIES TO BE RETURNED WHENASKED FOR, IN A GOOD CONDITION. IF THE TROPHY IS LOST OR DAMAGED LET THE LEAGUE SECRETARY KNOW. IF IT IS BEYOND REPAIR THE TEAM/LANDLORD WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE AND ASKED TO REPLACE IT.
