Cwtch Cynffig meets every Thursday in the Rees Hall of the Talbot Community Centre from 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m.
We provide a safe and friendly meeting place for vulnerable adults and their carers in Kenfig Hill and district. It is our mission to engage members in activities to improve their physical and mental health, and to encourage artistic hobbies to enhance their well-being.
We provide weekly morning and afternoon sessions - arts and crafts activities and health and well-being activities.
Cwtch Cynffig will also provide a meeting place for carers to socialize and share ideas over a cup of coffee or tea. Those who wish to stay for both sessions are offered a light lunch.
The classes are overseen by Donna Akdemir-Young who has experience in both fitness training and arts and crafts. I am helped by volunteers and the carers of the service users. One of our volunteers has recently been awarded a certificate by the local council as a Volunteer of the Year.
Why not pop in one morning or afternoon, have a cuppa
