Jean-Claude is named after a certain Action Man actor I think he resembles! He is a cloth doll with a hand painted and needle sculpted face. His skateboard is covered board with washers for wheels, the "steam boiler" is felted over a plastic ball and the pipes are plastic drinking straws.

Pucklington Hive
This figure has a needle felted head, with a wired cloth body hand dyed to match.
Meet Pucklington Hive (at least that's as close a translation as I can get from the name he gave me) an elder from a tribe of forest fairies, Sussex Pucks, residing in Ashdown Forest.

He carries a bow and an arrow made with a pen-nib he found. With it he catches small rodents for meat and clothing. He wears a necklace made of their vertebrae (actually, its plastic). The fairies collect sheeps' wool caught on the hedges and fences to spin and weave their tunics. His badges are made from buttons and beads lost in the forest by the humans, likewise his ruby ring.

His Worship
This figure has a needle felted head and a wired cloth body. He has a hand made felt hat, bag and boots and wool yarn hair.

He is the Mayor of a group of Sussex Pucks living in Ashdown Forest. He veers towards the "Steampunk" style of dress with accessories made from bits and pieces collected along the footpaths where they have been dropped by humans.

She looks the way I think a freshwater mermaid would look. She has a ‘come hither look’ in her eye with just a hint of danger. She has wrist and tail fins and a crest on her head. She has decorated herself with pearls and crystal beads that she has found on the riverbed bed and among the rock pools.
