Trip To Manor Born

A great day out was had by us all on Wed 28th Nov.

We headed off to East Grinstead where we met Liz our Blue Badge Guide.

We all went for coffee in an old world coffee shop. Then on the way back to coach we had a visit to St Swithuns Church. 

Once on the coach we then had a tour of Ashdown Forest. At a view point we looked over the countryside and a large rainbow

adorned the sky. 

We then went off to Saint Hill Manor, the home of Scientology founder member and author L Ron Hubbard. A fantastic place steeped in History.

We had Christmas dinner, a visit of the House and afternoon tea. 

We left at 4.45 seeing the lights of East Grinstead and drove home with an almost full moon.

What a perfect day out and an excellent start to Christmas celebrations.
