Diamond Jubilee Club Celebration

The last night of Summer programme was June 20th a special event to celebrate The Diamond Jubilee. It was a Glitz and Glam Party Night.

Kay and myself catered for 40 members with a summer 3 course buffet meal. Marilyn provided the wine and other drinks. 

Tables were decorated with a red, white and blue theme. We had music by Margaret Watson, a well known harpest. Beautiful music played all

night long with songs from the shows and popular music. She makes her period costumes and had a wonderful period dress on that glittered. 

Margaret will return to us on Nov 21st to play and talk to us all at the meeting. 

We all chatted and wished a member Audrey well in her new home as she is moving out of the area to be close to family. She was presented

with a bouquet. 

We all wished each other a happy Summer and will return on Sept 5th for Autumn/ Winter programme.
