ROB DUTTON - CHAIR - Rob began volunteering at Seahorse in 2009. He has been involved in many aspects of the Club, from poolside spotter, helping in the pool and on the committee. Rob works as a manager with Network Rail and also volunteers as a football coach for the Assisted Needs team at Cheshire Blades Football Club.
MICHAEL ROBERTS BEM - VICE CHAIR/VICE PRESIDENT - Michael started as a helper in the water in 1965, when he was in his early 20s. He has fulfilled various roles at Seahorse including as Chair of the Club. Michael, a former train driver and Councillor for Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council, served as the Mayor in 2002/03.
STEPH EVANSON - TREASURER/SOCIAL COMMITTEE - Steph, who works as a Teaching Assistant at Springfield School in Crewe, has been volunteering at Seahorse since 1999. She assists with the swimmers in the pool and has been a long standing committee member.
GARETH ROBERTS - SECRETARY/CHIEF INSTRUCTOR - Gareth started volunteering in 1996 and became Secretary in 2006. He is also a Trustee at the Lady Verdin Trust, who provide support to people with disabilities. Gareth, a former Crewe firefighter of 30 years, now works as a Bikeability Instructor in schools.
ELAINE EVANS - MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY - Elaine îfirst came to Seahorse in the mid-1990s. She was a committee member for several years and also served as secretary. Elaine, who works as a secretary at Leighton Hospital, is now back at Seahorse after taking a break and assists on the poolside.
ANN TRINER - REGISTRAR - Ann has been involved with Seahorse since 2004. In recent years she has helped to prepare the swimmers for the galas.
LISA REYNOLDS - SAFEGUARDING OFFICER - Lisa is an administrator at Sandbach High School. She volunteers behind the scenes at Seahorse, collating the DBS checks.
JACKIE ROBERTS - GENERAL AND SOCIAL COMMITTEE - Jackie started her nurse training in 1977 after volunteering at Leighton Hospital in her teens. She nursed in several hospitals, worked as a community nurse and as a school nurse for children with disabilities during her 40 year career. Jackie became a volunteer at Seahorse in 1996.
NICOLE LAWSON - GENERAL COMMITTEE - Nicole, a nurse practitioner at Leighton Hospital, Crewe, assists in the pool and gives plenty of encouragement to the younger swimmers. She first got involved with Seahorse when her grand-daughter joined the Club in 2010.
SHEILA EDWARDS - GENERAL COMMITTEE - Sheila has been volunteering since 2003. She served as treasurer for many years and also helped out with the galas.
MARK COOKE - GENERAL COMMITTEE - Two of Mark's daughters have been swimming at Seahorse since 2012. Mark is a helper in the pool and recently joined the committee.
BAZ GIBSON - GENERAL COMMITTEE - Baz enjoys his involvement with Seahorse. He has been assisting in the pool since 2012 and joined the committee the following year. Baz also assists the Club at the galas.
SEAN SAVAGE - GENERAL COMMITTEE - Sean joined Seahorse in 2011 and regularly swims for the Club at the Halliwick Galas. Sean, who has been a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospice (Cheshire) since 2012, represents the swimming members on the committee.
