Our Dives
JUNE 2013.
We were informed mid May that the Isle Martin BBQ has had to be cancelled this year. So rather than missing out on a diving weekend we organised our first club camping weekend.
So after some careful planning we all headed to Quarry point Loch Fyne (dog fish alley).
Marty arrived first with Malky and cleared areas for the tents to be pitched. Marty started pitching the communial tent as Malky made himself TEA!!!!! haha.
Billy K was next to arrive and help set up the tent.
The BBQ was set up and Billy tended to the camp fire. Next step was Mr Pia's chippy, possibly the best black pudding supper on the West Coast. Yes I know the BBQ was lit however you cant go to Invererary and not go to Mr Pia's LOL.
About 20.30 hrs Robyn, Donna and Garry arrived and set up another couple of tents. Then the party began and a cracking night was had by all.
Saturday and the dives took place at dog fish alley,which went well and without issue. Quite alot of life down there and the vis was about 10 meters. there were also quite a few jelly fish down there, mainly all male ones and one extremely large one, which some one said was a Portugese man o war or some tthing like that, all I know was it was big and had long tentacles coming of it!!!
Sunday and we decided to head up the road to penny moore point as some one had left the gate open, and what a phenomenal dive we had the vis was excellent the life was great and the company on the dive was ok LOL only kidding Billy K.
