Norway basics

The Aus trip is off the agenda, for now anyway.  Maybe next year when the pain is not so strong. Meanwhile I am going to Norway this year to the Arctic Circle at the top to NordKapp the most northerly part of the EU.
Approximately 6000 miles round trip I expect to take 8 to 10 week depending upon the planning and weather.(snow or sun, snow or sun, hmmm)
Looking to leave in late May or early June to take advantage for the summer months where the temperature is quite mild considering the location. -5 to +20. (I hope).
Rough route, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, France.
18-06-13. Still in the UK but the boat is booked for the 24th. So no excuses its time to go. I will land in the hook of Holland and fill up all tanks with Derv. Not much in the price between Holland and Germany. so 280 litres should get me well on my way, at 24 to the galleon is about 5 to the ltr so I should be ok for about 1400 miles. Or about a 1000 miles short of Tromso. Distances are so vast that it is difficult to comprehend. As most of Norway's roads are toll roads I will wherever possible try to keep off them but some times you really have no choice. returning I intend to travel down though Sweden to avoid the tolls.
