HMIe/Care Commission HMIE & Care Commission Inspections

Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Education (HMIe) inspected the School in June 2008.    Overall the indicators of quality assessed were very encouraging.     The School took on board all of the comments of the HMIe Inspectors and notwithstanding the excellent assessments obtained, the Board of Governors and School staff will strive to improve the facilities of Rose Abbey, for the benefit of all of its pupils.

The Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care (Care Commission) inspected the School in November 2008.     Overall the grades awarded for all quality indicators assessed were Grade 5 - Very Good.    The award of such grades was most rewarding, especially when taking into consideration that the School only opened in August 2007.
