Farewell & ThanksReligion As A WeaponBanking, Bankers and GovernmentEU Arrogance - again !!Davie Goes To StrasbourgIndex BBC Need Another Good Slapby Craig Chapman - Party Leader - 10:17 on 26 September 2011The BBC has, for some petty ridiculous reason, started referring to dates BC as BCE (Before Common Era) and AD (Common Era). Apart from sounding like a quotation from the orange monkey suit from Planet of the Apes, this Christianity-hoovering exercise is ludicrous and an insult to their long term British licence-paying public. As a government-run entity, the BBC has a duty to pander to the majority and not seek to act as some devious, sub-conscious thought police. We're informed that this has grown from down some sub-corridor within the BBC, not come down from on high. Coming down from on high is exactly what the Lib/Lab promoting idiots upstairs at the BBC should do to this abomination of an idea. Some anti-British idiot deserves a damn good slap, as do the sheep who have let the idea infiltrate their programmes - including University Challenge and Melvin Bragg's Radio 4 show. Yes, the economy is dire and deserves our full attention, but sneeking crap like this through the back door makes my blood boil.
Other recent examples of twisted BBC propaganda :- Rioting thugs = misunderstood victims One sided view to establish new Palestine - both sides need a good slap !! Endless waving of upside-down Union Jacks (eg: Top Gear, Blue Peter, Sian Williams history programme)
Dare we second guess the BBC's next round of mind warping ? The decimalisation of time Easter to become egg week Harvest festival to be renamed pre-Monsoon crop rescue Birmingham to be renamed Birminghaj Please send your additions to C.Chapman@popularalliance.org
Lastly; and this has confused me for a while now - when did a fire engine become an appliance ?
