Perhaps We Have a More Useful Role For The Unions

by Craig Chapman - 08:17 on 03 July 2011

Yes, I hate Unions !!

They are full of hypocritical liars, out to waste as much of the tax payer's money as they can, rather like the political party they align themselves to.

They are run by greedy, workshy troublemakers who earn far more than MPs in Westminster and 7-8 times the salary of many of the workers they claim to represent who might take home £20,000 p/a - do the maths, it stinks !!

Where were these unpatriotic monsters when our last government was giving away jobs across Europe and using our taxes to help them grow to out-compete us ? Surely an issue for such caring individuals to look into and rant about.

Just this last week, teachers were marching through London moaning about their pensions slipping a few per cent - have they ever tried working for a manufacturer under a Labour government ? Perhaps then they would appreciate having any pension (or job) at all.

Where do these raisers-of-tomorrow's-workers think all their salaries and pensions come from ? I recall one whinging at the TV camera that they are being made scapegoats for the follies of our bankers - you and the rest of us love, join the bloody queue !!! Let us not recall who fiddled with the safety net that our banks worked under - Gordon Brown !!!

Our economy is unbalanced, too many people taking from the system, with not enough contributing any money-making input. Sure, plenty of public sector workers do a good job, the problem is that there are just far too many and our country's income can't subsidise them any longer.

So...

Popular Alliance propose a new role for these Union ogres of fortune.

We need to transfer at least 20% of Public Sector staff into the Private Sector, so why don't the individual unions make themselves useful for once and work as the link. Identify which public jobs have private sector equivalents and utilise their golden bile to do some good for once and re-balance the workforce ?
