Labour have short memories

by Craig Chapman - Treasurer - Popular Alliance - 08:45 on 12 April 2010

Just listening this morning to Labour MPs talking on the news programmes about their campaign for re-election......

We aim to restore the public's trust in politics ?????

We need to get hold of public services and make them work for the people ????

We have plans to stabilise the economy ?????

Have I been living on Mars for the last 13 years ?

Things were not in great shape when Labour took over back then, but they have had 13 years to get a hold of public spending - which is now so in debt, we're all taxed beyond our lifespans to pay off their mistakes.

Our esteemed and inheritantly prudent Chancellor / now unelected PM, has been a world finanicial leader for his entire Dowing St career and is slap bang in the middle of the very reasons the world finds itself in this financial mess.

As for restoring the public's trust in politics, I am quite sure that the only way this might come about is, if they tied and swung the nooses themselves.

As poor as the other main parties might be, Labour has trawled the absolute depths of incompetance, lying, passing the blame and messing up our's and our children's future lives - yet they still have over 25% of the vote ??? Get real people, but then again, anyone taking time to read a political website has already chosen to vote these creeps out of office, so I'm blogging to those who already agree.

We're a hair's breadth away from a situation in which a vote for Labour is tantamount to a treasonous act.
